Default Trac Light won't go away!

93 LS400 w/trac.
I had the Trac Light on which reflected a bad TPS sensor (as per the dealer), so I had that replaced and the Trac light went away.
yesterday, I figured i should remove the other TPS look alike sensor on the left of the TPS to clean that up. And when I put that back on, the Trac light came on again. Keep in mind that this time the TPS sensor was not touched at all.
Anyhow, I took the negative terminal of the battery off for overnight, but this morning the TRAC warning light is still there.
any ideas/help on how to resolve this. ?
I know there is a section on adjusting the TPS but what about this sensor to the left of TPS. how is this one adjusted ? and how can i clear the codes, if disconnecting the battery isn't doing the trick ?
thnx everyone. please reply back as it's snowing in NJ and i need the traction !

Default You'll never believe this!

Had a similar problem with my 93 LS400...

After starting the car, all looked good on the dash... travelled a few hundred feet, pressed the brake and the light comes on.

After much hit and miss, I believe I have found they remedy. Check the pressure in the tires. if the pressure is too low (in my case below 34psi) the light came on. If the pressure was unequal on the same axle, the light came on. Since I made this discovery several months ago, whenever the light comes on, the fist thing I do is check the tire pressure.

Worked for me. Hope this is helpful.

Lexs400,

Trac light being on i'm pretty sure that it not the TPS. Check the high pressure hose of the trac accuator. Most of the time the hose on the inside brakes down clogging the pump.

What i would try first before replacing any parts is flushing the brake system a COUPLE of times
to try remove all the contaminets.

Hope that helps!!!
