I have a 1990 Lexus Ls400 I recently instaled a factory cd changer in the trunk.My boyfriend tried to repair the cigarette lighter,after such repair a wire shorted out causing alot of smoke and burnt wires.He cut all of the wires that went to the lighter and taped them up,after replacing a fuse under the hood everything started working again i.e all of the electrical options.Now when the car is in the accesory or on position the A/C blower will not turn off,it blows heat or conditioned air but only at one speed high.All of the positions work such as floor,vent,and window.Also when I put a disk in the cd changer shiney side up the display on the radio comes up with err and the disk stops spinning.I know I should have gone to a car audio place to have a cd changer put in but I wanted factory euiptment.If someone could help me out on this it would be a life saver.
