Sad and Angry =(
I came home from work today and go across the street to get my LS back and park her back at my house and then
So this is what happened. Everyday I park my car out in this parking lot across from my house. The parking is diagonal so there's not too much threat of being hit by other cars EXCEPT for these two homes that are right next to the parking lot. Someone carelessly backing out of their driveway has a chance of hitting the diagonally parked cars. So i am 90% sure that the car that hit me was backing out of the driveway of the house i was in front of. No note or anything. what a bastard. I'm going to have a talk with them tomorrow since they don't seem to be home right now.

If they are uncooperative you can file a "Hit N Run" report at the police station. Not much they can do except maybe question the party you feel is involved since you didn't see it and there were no eyewitness's.
The bumper can be repaired if you have the piece but obviously a new bumper would be the best repair.

Sorry to hear that
If it's indeed the people across the street that hits your car, there will likely be damages or traces of paint from your car on theirs too, but perhaps only the police can help to question them & possibly ask to examine for evidences like that.

Call the cops, get a police report. Don't mess around with going "Door to Door" to ask...if someone wanted to talk to you about it they would have left you a note.
Unfortunately, I doubt the cops will have time for it either. If you check cars parked in the driveway of your suspects house, then look for damage that may be the result of striking your car. If you see something, report it to the cops. I think investigation is going to be your baby.
Report it to your insurance company.
If you think you know who it is and see damage. Take pictures. That may help you if you need to file a civil suit.
Moral of story....do not park behind a private driveway. If you choose to do so, sooner or later your going to be backed into.

Judeg at the damage....I think it can be fixed..........fiberglass is easier to repair compare to mold plastic bumper. My guesstimate is $500..................... 250 for fiber work and 250 to paint it.
