'trac' light staying on
Well, I just picked up my '92 LS400 Today and I have an issue.
I took off the traction control and floored it from a stop to see if the tires would get lose. They did but then when I turned it back on the 'trac' light stays on like it does when you lose traction. After abit of that the 'check engine' and the 'Trac off' lights come on and it wont shift down if a floor it. They shut off and come back on randomly though.
Anyone have any idea's whats wrong? Its still under the 5000km used car warranty but I dont know if they will cover it. It didnt come on during the test drive. If its a expensive fix I will just take it back or try and get them to fix it.
Other than that, I love this car. So smooth and a pure joy to drive, as opposed to my Volvo 740 turbo with 3 inch exhuast! Its suppose to be for the wife to drive but I can see myself stealing it from time to time

You know I have been on forums for about 3 years and I forgot all about the search button.
Looks like I need a O2 sensor. Its still wierd that it shuts off though, maybe its just a lose connection or something else thats wrong.

In my '91 LS400, I had the same problem. Turned out the brake fluid was low--just add some brake fluid and the trac light should go off! Good luck and Happy Holidaze!!
