I am going to lower my LS pretty soon, but would the intrax 1.75in drop be too low and what are the dangers if i am driving in the rain with the 1.75in drop or should i go with the eibach 1.00in drop. I want to lower my LS because i recently raced another modified LS that was only about 2 inches of the ground and that LS looked so tight when it was dropped i mean it was slammed i could not even seen the top of his tires.

Anything less than 2" should be ok, however a 1" drop will ride better on these cars than a 1.75, as the struts are long and don't allow much suspension travel once the car is lowered.

We do have both brands you mentioned, however Eibach is hands down the more popular brand with our customers.

We are in the process of developing a true coilover setup for the LS, if you might be interested in testing a set let me know.

Default harsher ride?

hey, todd can you give me an example on the harshness of the ride when i hit a bump suppose i have the 1.75 instead of the 1.00 drop.

i really want the 1.75 in drop or how about 1.75 in the front to 1.00 in the back? is this a good idea?

I have the Eibach set with tokico shocks and so far the ride is good. There is a occasional poping noise from them when I hit a bump, is that normal? I think the Intrax will make the ride quality really harsh and something like that won't survive Houstons pot holes (already grounded my car out once). Hey Todd, I don't mine testing a kit!

Hey Todd, if you need another tester, I buddy of mine has a LS (1996 I believe...well it's a '95-'97 style) and he wants to get coil overs...

Edogg - 1.75" will give you a harsher rider but if you're used to lowered cars, it'll be very comfy compared to a lowered Civic or whatnot...I just got out of my cousin's lowered Integra and I think I lost a few teeth...

Thumbs up go for it

Hey drop your car the lowest you want. My friend with a japanese spec soara (sc300) droped his car over 2inches, and i'm plaing on a 1.75 drop. You will not have any camber problems, and as long as your shocks is working perfecly fine with you stock then you have nothing to worry about. For more info on other mods check out my post under want more power section.
