cigarette lighters
I have a '94 LS400 and neither cigarette lighter works. According to the owner's manual, the fuse powers more than just the lighters and I haven't had any other problems (with the exception of the usual cluster light probs), so I don't think it's just a fuse.
Appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks.

I had two burnt out cig sockets. Fuses were fine. I had to replace both the sockets. Unfortunately, because of the deisgn of the socket, only a Lexus socket will fit without modification, cost about $40 each. I got mine from advance auto for $5 each, and disassembled it and rewired it with some of the existing parts from the original sockets, then worked fine. There is a small wire in the original socket that can get burnt. Really speaking, you just have to resolder it.

ychachad,
Thanks so much for that info. Of course, it couldn't be something easy like a fuse. I'll check out advance auto and see what I can find.
Thanks again.
