Buying a 91 LS 400
I am looking at a 1991 LS 400 with 118K the appears to be in excellant condition. There is no book or papers with it. I had the local Lexus dealer pull a repair report and it goes all the way from new to its 90K check up in 9/02, with all scheduled maintenance along the way. Which means it went 18K over the last two years. Also in 02 the A/C compressor was replaced. Are there anything else I should look at or be aware of with these cars. I currently have a 93 ES 300 with 170K on it. Still running great.

OK there's the LCD screen for the AC the power steering pump/ pressure hose, alternator (burns out from the power steering fluid leaking into it) suspension might be due for a change (so if you intend to lower it get the lowering springs, and struts) cold weather Dash cluster problems (see thread) possible rack and pinion
Hope that helps!! There was a pole were alot of these problems were tallied
