Default key fob cracking

Is there a replacememt case for the key fob remote? I have a '95 LS400. The part that connects to the keychain is cracked. The car, of course would be undriveable if I had to manually unlock the door. Unthinkable! :-)

Thanks!

Why would your car not be drivable if you had to manually unlock the door with the key or was that a joke?
Your car is in fact drivable with the key whether you have the remote or not.

They don't just sell the case, you have to purchase a new remote altogether or try to find a used remote some place and swap the cases.

Do what I did...find a comparable Toyota remote off that auction site and swap the case. I paid like $7 for a brand new remote from either a Camry, Avalon or Corolla. They are plentiful and if you want to throw someone off, the Matrix, Highlander and 4Runner have the same button pattern they just show the hatch.

Thanks for the responses. I was kidding about the car not being driveable w/o the fob... Just spoiled with it is all. I never want a car w/o it.

I think I will look at the avalon or other remote then and swap cases... It is hyway robery to charge $150.00 for a new lexus fob. I understand paying a premium for a premium car due to complicated systems or to limited/lesser production runs, but not with a stamped piece of plastic that every GD Toyota in the world uses.

Thanks a million.

I understand what you mean by not having a remote, I've got an '05 RX330 loaner and it is a PITA without.
