Default TEIN CS finally mounted!

Just a couple of shots of my 97 LS Coach with TEIN CS installed. What a huge difference and definitely worth the wait!!

Any luck with the sway bar/bushings? Let me know how they work out. John

I like it alot, how low would you say you have it now? I don't have teins and mine went pretty low with what's supposed to be just a 1.5 inch drop. Your car looks nice bro.

Thanks, I've seen the pictures of yours and it looks really good as well. I'm running about 1 finger all around. Really happy with the improvement in handling as I regularlily run at 200 + kmh on the autobahn. All the buffeting at those speeds is now almost non-exsitent. Next up will probably be some spacers on the rear wheels and it sounds like from other post's, tranny/engine mount replacement, as well as bushings on sway bar.

Somebody made the comment to me that they didn't understand why I brought this car to Germany. That these cars were all about "show" and no go (I'm not a car snob but they were driving a Chevy Caviler or something like it. I think they were using that car as a basis of comparison...). After I got done laughing, I informed them how I drive this car and how it performs. My German mechanic (drives a '99 7-series), who was standing with me at the time and also thought it was a good one, told this guy straight up that this was a car that certainly must earn respect on the autobahn. Then we went into a lecture about the design and capabilities of the car. I also just happened to have the latest Car and Driver road test annual with me and pointed out how the LS 430 came out on top of it's field (again...). The Benz, the supposed benchmark, came out 6th...

Now with all the changes to the look, I get straight out gawking from men, woman and small children alike. It wasn't the reason for the change but it has been a nice side benefit.
