I just bought a xenon kit and found that the bumpers are not the same as the stock bumpers. It seems the stock bumpers are one piece going up under the lights (front and back) were as the xenon bumpers end at the chrome trim strip. does anyone know about this kit did I get a bad kit or does this kit require that I cut the stock bumper and do a patch job.

Maybe Retrodrive can help you out on that one...he got his to fit pretty nicely (I think). As the saying goes (a countless number of times on these forums)...you get what you pay for. I wish you the best of luck in getting it to fit properly.
