Default Transmission Cooler

I have a 96 LS400 and wanted to add a transmission cooler to the car. The car has about 137,000 miles and drives smooth but am afraid the tranny will not outlast the engine. Has anybody added a cooler to their LS? If so, what brand, model, and where is it mounted? Would appreciate pics if available.

Also, how long do these trannies last before needing a rebuild?

trust me , the tranny will live forever as long as you service it with toyota ATF T-IV. These trannys do not go bad at all unless you dont use proper maintainance.

Unless you're towing or have modifications like an aftermarket high-stall torque converter, tranny cooler will be overkill. Just follow regular maintance schedule!
