Default Carbon fiber hood avail. for 1st gen. !!!

Hey guys
I spoke to a guy at one of the places that makes CF hoods for the gs. etc... HE told me if I get ten or so people to buy a 1st gen ls400 hood he will make one ! All he needs is someone to give him a perfect hood in southern california. I am partners with an audio shop and my cost will be around 500 bucks. If your interested post here or pm me. and ill know if I should advance on this deal. Of course Ill let you guys know the manafacturer if you choose to go along. C'mon its not that hard to guess they make cf hoods for the newer gs's .
Thanks,
Nomi

So basically it is not avaliable. I could get you the same deal 1/2 a year ago but there are simply not enough people who want the hood.

That is why you want to paint it.

Then what is the point of having carbon fiber hood? Not like my car is a race car or anything and every pound counts. Plus the stereo stuff don't help the weight either.

that would make my year if we made it!

i think carbon fiber would look fine on a white car personally. ANd we can request vents im sure.

cmon guys dish out the cash lets do this!

***Update***

If we get 15 ( I know its a long shot)
the price will be more like 400 bucks...thats a killer deal guys!

Just saying that you want it does not mean you are one of 10 people who are going to pay. You better have $$$ ready for this.

True we need to aim for like 30 ppl because ppl ALWAYS back outta deals. I think 400 is a killer price for a CF hood.... but I want one with a nice clean looking vent!!! Ill try to find a pic of the one I want. In the meantime lets keep adding on to the list. Oh, IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MONETARY RESOURCES PLEASE DONT ASK THAT YOUR NAME BE ADDED!!!!!!

How about everyone post pics of the type of vent they want and we'll have a vote and decide?
