Default A/C issue

well it's getting warm up here in ol canada now and after a long winter it appears my A/C is not fuctioning. To the best of my knowledge it worked fine last summer.
Basically just blows warm air. Turn off for 15-30 seconds....then turn back on and I get a breif blast of the icy stuff before turning warm again.
It's a 92 and teh system was recharged by the previous owner about 3 years ago. Any thoughts?

It's possible there may be a small leak in the a/c lines. (That's pretty vague)..

You can take it to a place that will re-fill it and thye should be able to check and see if there's any coolant left.

My A/C did something similar last summer and I had it refilled. Works great now. Cost was around $100 I think.

3 years ago! You probably just need to get the system recharged, that's less than a hundred bucks . During this process have them check for leaks as LVG said.

Make sure to do the leak detection and see where the leak is,(if any). Because just fixed my AC in my 1991ls. It was just a .25 o-ring leaking. Alot better than spending $75 an hour at a shop.

Now is the good time to convert the system to R134. Make sure put a dye in your a/c system and the leak will show up with a black light.
