The huge front bracket and original bracket on the car. Due to this size difference, this bracket will have to be modified to fit in the space. Optionally if you wanted, you probably could grind down the bushing to fit the stock bracket but this would be half-azzed.

I'd grind a bit off, do a test fit and grind some more. Here is the final shape of the bracket, note both ends need clearance. Due to the heat of grinding, the zinc finish burnt off around the bolt openings. They will need to be painted to prevent corrosion. My first go I must not have cleaned them as the paint did not adhere so I'll sandblast them prior to painting them.

Mike,
Quite the professional job on the fronts. Being one of the less patient types, opted for the bending which went pretty easy. Have you had a chance to install the fronts?

I was a bit agressive in modding these brackets...all that really needed to be done was grind the areas that needed clearance...I went at it thinking symmetry. I may buy some more brackets and do it over. (That tinkering bug although not necessary.)
Got back too late today to sandblast and paint, I'm hoping Friday I'll have some time to complete it.

Got the fronts in today and for the most part the install was uneventful. The right side was done in about 10 minutes and was a breeze. The driver side turned into a 1 hour 15 minute adventure trying to squeeze the bushing on and get the bracket in the right position. In the process I got one of the bolts cross threaded and trying to remedy that took lots of time.
I ground off the ruined threads yet it still was a tough go since the threads in the bracket were now messed up. It snugged up but I'll have to run a tap through the threads to clean it up and install a new bolt. Fingers crossed I didn't mess it up too bad, I'll see when I back the bolt out.
Overall cornering has about 30% less roll than the stock sway bushings. Almost has that new car feel when you drive it over bumps a such.
Again, big thanks to Lexkost for pursuing this upgrade.

RA40, I've got a 95 ls that is in need of new bushings as well. I don't want to lower the car or anything, I like it stock as is. I've read all the threads between Valmos and Diazen, and according to Andrew with Valmos, he doesn't do the LS bushings for america anymore, said Diazen are the ones. How is the ride? Harsh at all? Or smooooooth like before. How much $$ were they? Can you point me in the right direction to pick some up myself?? Sorry for the 20 questions, just trying like heck to avoid stealership prices.
Thanks RA40!

Part #'s from Energy Suspension that will fit the 2nd Gen LS are:
1 1/16" front bar part number is: ...............9-5162
5/8" rear bar part number is: .....................9-5153
You can get the specs from their site and these are common generic sizes. Pep Boys may have these in sock if not you may be able to order. Todd at TM Engineering will also be able to get them.
Lexkost did this to Persians first gen but you'll have to verify bar size before ordering. Ride when going over uneven bumps (One tire riding over and the other not) is a touch stiffer but as far as the basic stock ride, there will not be any degredation.
In my set-up with the Eibach and Bilstein, cornnering is mildly improved and given the investment of ~$30 it is a good bang to buck ratio.
