Question 97 LS400 Big brake setup on 93 LS400?

I've got a total lost 97 LS400 at my shop. I'm plannng to take out the front brakes with 4-piston calipers for my 93 LS400. Is this a possible swap? How am I going to do this, install with the whole knuckle?

That would be my thought...install the knuckle/spindle if it will fit the later A-arms.

I think the spindle swap is easy, I'll just remove the knuckle with rotor & caliper and swap it on........I'm affraid that there are some custom brackets needed to fit this project

This may be pretty involed as I've thought about it more.
Certainly nothing a plasma cutter and some welding cannot overcome. For the average guy though, this become complex.

Wheel off-set,
hub
Let alone the brackets to accomodate the caliper for the larger disc.

I wonder if the whole A-arm asembly may bolt up...then it is a whole swap so long as it does not throw the front track off.

As persian said, gotta try it.

Hey Eric,

I've got a better idea....do a Supra TT big brake swap instead.
