Talking Proud new owner of a 99 LS400!!!

Well I finally decided to take the plunge. I just purchased my first Lexus, a 1999 LS 400 with 93,227 miles in show room condition. This was a one owner vehicle with every scheduled maintenance done, even the 90K. This car is amazing! I finally see what everybody means when they say "Lexus quality". I have done a months worth of research on this vehicle and it's seems I can get another 1-200K out of it - as long as I treat her right?

I plan on doing some mods in the future, grill wheels, etc., but for now I will just be enjoying the ride! This seems like a great home for Lexi owners and I look forward to learning everything there is to know about this fine automobile.

What you will also realize very soon as well is .......... that there is no going back.
The LEX will kinda spoil ya that way ..........
Welcome aboard the "Ho Train".

Enjoy the ride .........

Thank you for the warm welcome. This car is absolutely amazing. I told my wife I felt like I was 16 and just getting my license – I found any excuse to drive somewhere, “do we need milk”, “I need to run to home depot for something”, “oh, would you look at that I need gas again”.

The color is Black Onyx over tan. The previous owner was meticulous with the care and maintenance of this vehicle. It has 93K on the clock but feels like 10K. The only blemish is the driver’s seat is died in a few spots just from normal wear and tear, can hardly tell. The only area I am disappointed in is the trunk, it’s a little smaller than I expected, but I can and will get over this. After all I don’t sit in the trunk.

Like a new car, I read the owners manual cover to cover last night. I can’t get over how awesome this car is! I can’t wait for the first road trip.

Congrats on the new car purchase!! I got a chance to sample a 2k LS400 for the first time 3weeks ago when my brother bought one, and is just a great machine! I am not joking when I say it felt like riding on air or something!! LOL

Stick around CL to learn about your car, and the search function will help you with a lot of topics!
