The original headlights of my 96 LS was very non-bright and yellow. I had very poor sight when driving at night. With the suggestion from a friend, I bought a pair of Piaa Xtreme HID bulbs (Parts # H-208) for $65.- There is a another model for $10.- less, but not as bright. Don't save that $10.-
It took me "a while" to get them installed myself. But, wow, what a big difference with this Piaa. The night vision is much better now. The view is "pure white" and "clear". It is almost the same as the headlights of my another 01 LS430. With the huge benefit/cost ratio, I highly recommend it.

I bought them from a local store. You can get them from many web sites. www.TireRack.com sells them for $75.-

or you can get some on ebay or the many, many webstores that sell PIAA bulbs. They really do help in terms of seeing more clearly, but they certainly aren't as nice as a set of real HIDs. Definitely worth the money though, in my opinion.
