About to do tune-up...need to know what else i should replace while i'm at it
Hey all...
totally new to the Lexus LS400. Mine is a 93 with 170K.
Here is wat i am planning to do:
(1) Fuel system flush
(1) Oil Change
(1) ....whatever else you all recommend.

Be ready for the hard work
I did mine last week for the first time.Make sure you have a strong back to stand for almost an hr and a half to unscrew 8 plugs out of it's hole.The air filter side is much harder than the other side.
It took me about 3 hrs to the the job.
I didn't change the wires but make sure you change the air filter and clean the throttle body as I did.You might also want to change the PCV valve.The best thing is to do a search on this topic or visit www.lextreme.com as I did.He had pictures of each step.I am even thinking about venturing into changing the timing belt after I changed the struts but I am scared.
