nah, you can only lease a new car. Lexus and other brands will not lease a pre-owned vehicle

Lexus does not lease their own used cars. However, here, in New York, there is a number of independent dealers who lease used luxury cars. That way you can get a 2-3 year old car for half of what it used to cost for a new lease.
Personally, I am not interested in leasing because of the miles that i drive. However, I could probably get into a 01' LS400 for about $500 per month with 0 down, all fees and taxes included.
I'd say that it beats the hell out of leasing a brand new Accord for the same money!

Edmunds wrote about this like 2 years ago saying what a bad idea leasing a used car is. The whole reason people lease is A) so that they can afford a car they would not normally be able to and B) always have a new car, no need to worry about maintenance, warranty coverage, etc.

When you lease a new car you are going to be getting up there in miles where you have to start doing major and expensive maintenace (60K service, etc.).

If the only way you can afford a car like this is to lease it used, you really shouldn't be driving it.

This comes from someone who is a big fan of BUYING preowned cars. But I would never lease one.
