just go to a hobby shop, and buy some kind of window tint spray paint or transparent black... take the lights off... then apply the coats on.. and thats it..

Nice work persian, it looks very nice!
This is something that's been on my list for some time now, but I can't doing anything for a few months since it's cold outside. I'm actually planning on going even darker. It will be close to straight black on black, stealth . A lot of people use a product called VHT Nite-Shades, it's just another transparent spray paint. I'm going to do a couple coats of clear coat after the Nite-Shades to give it a nice glossy look. Also before painting you want to clean the lights with alcohol to get any wax or junk off. I'm planning a write up, mainly for before and after shots.

you could take it off because its paint, Just use paint thinner or remover..
Just go to a hobby shop and its a spray can... called transparent black, or window tint. or something. Tell teh guys at the shop and they'll help you find what u need. I dont trust those special tailight sprays, because the coats are thick and looks almost like spraypaint. The hobby shop stuff, applies really thin and even. You would probably need 4 cans to get the look you want. I used 2, I should have used more. Plus If you stuff that is thick and not that translucent, cops pull you over. Because your lights must show the original color of the lens, when sunlight is on it. (I.e red, orange)
The window tint lets you get away with it as you saw with mine.. at different angles it looks like nothing is on, great mod for black cars so you dont have to dump 200 bucks on those red/white tailights
