Smile 3 More Weeks!!!!!

Just heard from my dealer, and my new LS430, Silver/Black with Modern Lux package is at the Port!!!! I am really excited as I have already traded my car in and am stuck driving a van!!!!

Since I have the next 3 weeks to dream , does anyone know a website that might have downloaded manuals for the new LS430s? I am especially interested in getting a handle on how to work the Nav system. I know on the Mercedes list there was access to the car manuals. Just wondering ( and dreaming.......)

Any new owners out there? Are you loving your cars?

I sent a note to Lexus earlier this year requesting a Navigation manual for my GS4 and Lexus asked me to contact Material Distribution Center at 1-800-622-2033 to obtain a copy.

Default 430 at port

Wonderful news thanks for sharing. I ordered mine from Orland a friend offered some help. I also got a call and they said week so. I also got a modern, sport,black/black and smart access. I have to order some winter tire wheels.I feel like a kid at Christmas. I have owned a lot of neat cars but none like this.My friend said once you get on this merry-go-round it is hard to get off it.

Talking 3 More Weeks!!!

Hey Jennifer!

As you know I've been waiting on a new Moonlight Pearl to be delivered for the past 2 weeks. 1st my dealer got the car in, but it did not thave the sport suspension w/18"wheels I wanted.
So get this, my dealer made me a deal I just couldn't pass up, on the Black LS430 w/Modurn Luxury, Smart Access & Sport Suspension. The interior is the Ash Leather. (Grey)...It even has wheel locks & trunk mat included. Nav & ML as well...

$57,750 Sale Price w/additional All weathertech winter floormats, $450 in Service coupons and a special tire warranty. I saw it this evening on my way home from work. It was getting detailed and wow does it take your breath away...Waiting the extra week to decide saved me about 2 more grand with the additional legwork....

I had been calling dealers direct on their 800#'s all over the country to see what kind of deals were being made. Low & behold my hometown dealer beat them all, of course after I was able to name the names of dealers in different cities whom had cars available, like I wanted.

I'll post some pics of it tomorrow...Needless to say I may not get too much sleep tonight...

Does your car have 18" chrome or cast wheels?

I'm not getting the sports suspension, so I'm getting the 17" tires without the chrome wheels. As I posted previously, I had a C32 AMG, with the Pilot sport tires, and they wore out under 12,000 miles, and it was impossible to drive the car when any ice/snow was on the ground. I replaced those tires, but still, the car had too much torque to drive in even the lightest snow cover. I live in Chicago so...... I traded in for a more dependable car to drive in the winter. What I found was my Dream Machine!!!!!

From shopping around, most of the LS430s have the sports / tire setup

Regarding the owner's manual, if you have the serial number of the car your ordered (you should), you can go to the owner's section of the lexus web site, https://auth.owners.lexus.com/lexuso...sl/OwnersLogin ,
create yourself an account and register your vehicle, you can then view/download PDF documents of the owner's manual.

Alternatively, goto http://techinfo.lexus.com and subscribe for a day ($10) and download the entire owner's manual, repair manual, and lots of other stuff. If you want all the stuff you probably shoudl subscribe for a month ($50) because it takes a long time to get everything.

Default Navigation System

Jennifer-
Ask your dealer if you can borrow the nav disk from one of the demos. Every new car w/nav comes with one and its excellent. I would've appreciated getting one before I picked up my car. Also- If your sales person has an open slot of time, ask them if they'll help train you, before yours arrives. The computer system on these new cars are so advanced, you'll be ahead of the game.

I'm not sure, but you may be able to download info from the disk. Although-I'm sure it has a feature where you can print pages of interest.

I'm still waking up in the morning and looking in the garage to see if it was all just a dream...
