Default OEM Brake Pads & Rotors

I have a 08 Base LS460 thats coming up on brake maintenance with 52K Total miles and original brakes. I have read the OEM Lexus Pads and rotors are prone to warping.

Appreciate any input and user experiences.

Do a search for the brake pad and rotor replacement thread. This issue has been covered A LOT. There is a thread that guys have listed what they have used the part number, where they bought the parts, the costs etc. It is a very good thread.

OP, DJWLDW has lead you in the perfect direction.
To be of a little assistance, this is one of the threads that he made mention of, and I hope it helps:

Have you had your pads and rotors measured? 52,000 seems low mileage for replacement. My car has 85000 on it and has half the pads left. I had to have the rotors machined at 75,000 because of the pulsation (which was mild).

I changed rotors and pads ( front and rear) about 3 motnhs ago when the car had about 62K miles.
Used Akebobo brake pads these rotors :

No complains. Very smooth braking.
