Dealerships parts can be outrageous but at least you're know its the right one. But if eBay can save you money why not. I had a MB and one of my rear seat reading light bulbs went out an the dealership wanted $16. I found one on line for $3.

Here is just an example of something I saw/found on ebay:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/24-TOYOTA-OEM-FACTORY-MAG-LUG-NUTS-12x1-5-FITS-LEXUS-MAG-SEAT-WHEELS-/281920256583?hash=item41a3c1ba47:g:svwAAOSw--1Wp~E3&vxp=mtr

However,
I would do a little digging to assure that, if you decide to purchase some that aren't OEM/from Lexus/Toyota, be fully aware of size, material and specifications of the OEM nuts.
You don't want any issues with stripping.
Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

Sixteen bucks is ridiculous. I know your pain, I just spent $260 bucks on a blower motor. Most blowers motors I've seen are $50. Needless to say I was a little stunned.

Wait, the fix you performed didn't fix the issue? What route did you take regarding purchasing another motor?

No it was only a temporary fix to get me through the weekend. It improved it, but there was still some noise. When the blower fan became loose like that it probably wiped out an internal bushing.

I ended up going to the dealer for the part, I could have bought one online and saved ten bucks, but it wasn't worth it...and I could have bought used one for $100 (but why chance it?).

I absolutely understand what your saying. In some cases its just best to go new, OEM. Especially for you being in the New England area at this time of year...

Why chance it.

Glad you got it taken care of though.

I have 5 'brand new in bag' OE LS460 lug nuts that I would be willing to sell you for a discounted price if you are interested. Yes, I paid $16 each for them and never ended up using. Figured I'd offer, let me know..
