Unless you're just looking for something new... No thanks.
"Everybody" is an exceedingly broad brush....and I'm over there, btw.

Styling is subjective, quality is not. I am not comparing the style of the interiors, just their quality. There is a definite quality difference between components of the CT6 interior and true flagship car interiors. If those things don't matter to you that's fine, but to me the quality of the interior is a huge part of a flagship luxury purchase.

If my primary desire was power, I wouldn't be looking for a car in this class, so yes I would rather have a 740 than a CT6 3.0TT. If speed and power were what I wanted I would get a 550 or an M5 or something like that.

Let's not get in a whizzing match as that is not my intent. I don't find the 'quality' of the severely dated 7 series' interior to outclass the CT6P, which BTW is not the flagship of Cadillac. YOUR dictum doesn't over-ride my world, nor my thought process... I don't think you perceive that. Quality IMO, is not an overpriced, repetitive service-bay queen. Simply stating my opinion which happens to differ from yours. Nothing personal here whatsoever SW15LS. Let's agree to peaceably disagree and leave it at that. Deal? Nothing to win here.

Tap on the plastic of the b pillar, lower doors, lower dash of the CT6 and do the same on the 7 Series, you will see what I mean. There's nothing to get ruffled about here, I don't own either car it's just that the difference is quite distinct. If you like the CT6 then get one, like I said I like it too, it's just not a car I would be interested in at a price over $70k. Those poor materials would stare me in the face every time I sat down inside if I'm not saving money over the cars we've discussed here.

These materials aren't as good as what's found even in a GS or 5 series, let alone an LS or 7 Series. You can say that you don't care about those things, but the fact that these areas are hard plastic on the CT6 and not on these other cars is a fact, not an opinion.
