shudder when braking
Hey guys just wanted your opinion on what my issue is.......i had a lot of shuddering while braking on my last set of brakes......i replaced rotors and pads figuring that would be the fix, and it seemed to be temporarily, less than a couple thousand miles later the same issue is back.....do you guys think the rotors are warped already? or is there some other issue??

How many miles do you have on the new set of rotors? Are you sure the lug nuts are torqued down properly?

A lot depends on the quality of rotors you installed. Which brand have you used ? Also, my mechanic told me that you need to be "gentle" on a brakes not to overheat rotors for first couple hours ( I'm not sure if it's true).

Have you had you tires road forced? My car would shake after I had my discs replaced. Road forcing took care of the problem. Lexus LS discs are too small for the weight of the car in my opinion.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I know it's annoying, I hate it myself. I've heard that OEM rotors are crap and changed my rotors/pads about 2 months ago and till now no any issues.
I got these : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001KO2IVO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It does not cost much, try it. Good luck

maybe the tech that installed the new tires over torqued the lugs. However, either now or soon from now the Toyota rotors and pad combo develop glaze (high spots of pad material) and exhibit pulsation. I use stop tech crying drilled rotors (extreme), but a centric rotor with Akebono pads should clear things up. This topic has been discussed significantly on this site...be well

The OEM rotors warp easily, but not 4k miles easily. Somethings not right...
