Driver side auto close door is intermittent

Sometimes it closes the door and sometimes it does not, door jamb switch was tested and is ok, how should this be fixed?

Most likely the latch itself is failing. MIne did either replace the latch and that cost a lot if dealer does it. I just live with out. Both drivers side are out.
