Not for me! Why would anyone do this to a high end, well engineered car?
I purchased an LS for the looks and the smooth ride........ I guess I am getting old.

LOL....none of my vehicles stay stock. Not even my daily driven pickup.

Do you just rotate the corners so that now the fresh half touches the ground? Are you able to drive normal speeds on the freeway and around town? Or do you have to creep over the road like what drivers have to do with speed bumps after they lower their ride? I'll never know these answers because I don't do any extreme modding. Thanks for the education.
Money-wise, I'm guessing he's put a little less money into his car than I have into mine considering my supercharger. As for dollars spent, I wouldn't consider a single dollar spent on my car as an 'investment'. As for the "angled rims", so long as in the alignment specs the toe is correct, I've seen up to 15-20K miles out of tires if flipped. Ride height is adjustable, so I can drive at normal speeds everywhere; drive-ability is not compromised, and neither is comfort.

A widebody or '13-current LS460 drives no different than any other normal LS460.

I love widebody and I don't even mind a little camber , but it doesn't flow all that well on the 460

I've never been a fan of dropped cars, etc, I kind of missed that whole generational thing by about 20 years. But I appreciate the work people put in to make it happen.

I appreciate the work involved, & am a fan of tasteful drop and certain widebody applications; but I'm not one for the splayed ducks-feet "they broke all the axles" look. Overall, atrocious abuse of a perfectly good car. I guess that's why some people jump out of perfectly good airplanes and most don't. YMMV. No hating here, just a personal viewpoint.

It does look a little odd.......different too, and I have the same fenders.

I'm not sure why they cambered it so much.

I think some people just like to be different. Most people don’t like aftermarket modification and that is why aftermarket modification is a niche market.

My guess is that the wheels are into the negative offsets with a stretch tire to achieve that "look". My set of Aimgain GVS are from the Aimgain Tokyo Auto Salon demo car, and the front and rear offsets are -12 and -28, respectively. If memory serves me correctly Mark, I don't think you're running negative offsets and you and I have the same fenders as well. Probably why you and I don't have that much of a "cambered" appearance.

To be frank, the stretch tire and the aggressive offsets make for nothing more than a nervous drive to/from shows. To some it looks cool to have the barrel peeking out from under the tire, but it's just not safe. Even more so in the state of CA that spends the bare minimum on public roadway infrastructure. I personally feel much more safe on my BBS wheels.

Hi, i want my ls460 to look similar to that, how did you get started modding your car? What did you do first and where did you get your parts from?
