The one with the stiff air suspension. I checked the tire pressure and it is 33.

The air suspension on Jaguar XJ is smooth and not floaty. BMW and Lexus are smooth and floaty to me

If the surface quickly going down and up(like a little V shape) when driving 60km per hour, the car feels almost hit the buttom.

I still have the extended warranty and have lexus tech checked and they couldn't find any problem. Somehow I find LS430 is more forgiving than LS460 on very road. Do you guys have the same issue?
My car is CPO 2010 LS460 / 60K miles on ODO with the same suspension as yours. Your description of the issue is exactly what I say when I visit my dealer. Dealer checked it couple times, but said there is nothing wrong with shocks, but they changed control arms just in case ( thanks to my warranty).
I have not noticed any difference before and after. I'm still complaining about shocks, but dealer says they can't change them unless it's leaking. I'm ready to buy KYB front shocks and install them. My last hope is to go to the dealer one more time and test drive the car with Lexus rep. If he will say this is normal - I'll probably get KYB shocks and try it out.
I don't think tires are the issue. I have Michelin tires, I've tried to change tires pressure - no difference.

Tire to car is like shoe to us, so I am buying some Pirelli tires to make sure the issue is not from tires(take 10 days to order in). This Tuesday when I go to the dealer shop, I will show suspension concern to the tech myself. Last time I didn't demo the issue to them myself when they couldn't find the problem. This time I will find a pothole I can duplicated the issue to them.

I feel my front suspension is weak, but Yesterday Lexus dealer found that my pair of rear struts are leaking and they are ordering a new pair for me. It is covered under extended warranty, so I will let them change it to see if it make things better.

Always enjoy the Lexus service with my extended warranty. You drive your car to the dealer to complain a problem. When they done the job, they hand wash your car clean and deliver it to you after lunch with a box of chocolate inside. You never need to spend a dime.

Overall, I like my 2011 LS460 better than 2006 LS430. I was told 2011-12 version is more stable and Lexus fixed lots of common user complains.

My 460 pros:
  • 460 Highway driving is more stable and quiet than 430, front double side glass is thicker. When you step on the gas, it shoots to 100 miles/hour very fast and you still feel like driving at 70 miles/hour
  • Steering in 430 is smooth and precise, 460 is even better.

My 460 cons:
  • 460 Material it used is a little less refined that LS430. Less headroom(I am 6’7” so doesn’t bother me much)
  • 460 residential street driving is little noisy than LS430. I can feel the engine vibrate and little noisy when stopping at traffic lights

Not to play devils advocate here or be the annoying kid at the playground, however, I just wanted to chime in and say that my LS, amidst residential driving, is very still, quiet and with no vibrations at stop lights/stop signs. I will say though, that if I am sitting idle for a period of time, I will feel an occasional vibration from the motor. its comes and goes. I feel it in the seat, but other than that, the car is pretty quiet/vibration free.

You never hear a 430 owner say, "I really love the way my 430 has significantly more body roll than the 460"

EXACTLY. You can't have it both ways. "I want my car to corner like a Porsche 911, but soak up potholes like a 73 Cadillac Brougham."

LS460 body is lower on the ground and more body roll than LS430. With the power mode on, I feel LS460 is more sporty, breathable and agile.

Gas price is low, now I always drive with power mode and it is much more fun

Skidpad ratings:

LS460 .81g
LS430 .73g

That is significant.

These two statements contradict each other. The LS460 has less body roll than the LS430, which is what makes it feel sportier and more agile.

i had a sport suspension on ls430 (thicker sway bars) and was running coilovers setup BC racing /BR series on stock 18" sport wheels- Drop was moderate nothing crazy. The ls430 was STILL quieter. The 460 is louder / (we are only talking city bumps) i always feel like there is a control arm hitting something or the bushings are bad. But yea highway driving the car /ls460 is more planted than stock 430

if i keep this for next six months i will be putting coilovers on it as well.

Something doesn't sound right at all...I don't have any such feeling or noise in my 460...of course it's a lot newer perhaps there were changes made.
