If there is no audible sounds or anything that you feel in the car, just keep driving until you notice something. Also, ask if the car is unsafe in its current condition. I'm in the middle of swapping bushings and I only found one that looked 70% out and another 50% out. The rest looked pretty good for 9yrs 60k. One dealer said swap all/another said swap all uppers.

Find a reputable independent shop that works on Toyota/Lexus. You should be able to get the entire 8 control arms done for a reasonable price and then you're good to go.

wait so has anyone actually replaced just the bushings themselves?
afterall its not the arms that are defective right ? its the actual rubber plastic bushings. So has anyone actually just replaced the bushings itself ?

right and thanks for the clarification.
but has anyone actually done just the bushing replacmenr? and if it's doable why is everyone spending 700 dollars for aftermarket arms and bushing when u can get the bushings for 70 bucks and pay a shop 300 at most to install it. most shops already have a press to get rhe bushings out.

Yes, total cost for parts was less than $125 and took a few hours while drinking heavily. My guess is that the reason more people don't do it themselves is because this is a Lexus forum, hahaha.

it wouldnt be worth doing it yourself, especially if you had to buy the press kit. It can't be more than 2 hours of labor.
im assuming these are the correct ones.

Pressing in bushings is not the best use of time. A. separating the lower forward arm without damaging the ball is not a job for a novice. B. The poly bushings slip and slide so getting them going in the right direction with a press is not a cake walk either, But nothing ventured, nothing gained; so go ahead and give it a try, at least you would have a story to tell. My story is the upper bushings are relatively easy to press out and back in. The lower rearward are not too bad either. The lower forward require a lot of pressure so a hand-held press is near useless for extracting the bushing, that is if you can get it disconnected from the knuckle perfectly. My skills and time led me to put bushings in both upper arms (4) and lower rearward arms (2), and purchase Moog lower forward arms at ($250 for bushings+$190 for new arms).
