In general, most glass will block some UV light. Windshield glass is designed to block most UV wavelengths. So no tint needed.

Be aware that winshield tint, even "clear tint" may affect your visibility if you wear "polarized glasses" (often the case with sunglasses).

That's what has held me back from "clear tinting" the windshield.

I have my windshield tinted, probably the best thing i have done for the car. Not sure on the product as i had a shop do it but its 50%.
Cant really tell from the outside that I have tint but I can drive now without sunglasses. I still leave a sunshade up when i park though.
