Default Question about tire load rating for those with 22's

Just bought a set of lightly used Niche Surge 22" wheels with Nitto NT555 tires in 255/30/22 & 295/25/22. Discount tire said they won't touch the wheels unless I bring them in off the car because my 2011 LS460 Sport calls for a tire with a load index of 98 and the nittos are 95 front 97 rear. The tires are new but am I risking a blow out running these? Been looking online and can't find any tires in that size with a 98 rating. When researching the ratings the difference between the 95/97 and 98 isn't a whole lot of weight carrying ability. Also, 40psi a good place to set them? That seems like what most people are running on 22's.

If you do a search you'll see my extensive thread on this topic. Long story short, you should be fine but keep your psi higher than normal

I typed "load rating CJitty clublexus" on Google and it appeared instantly. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...-inside-3.html

Ah, forgive me as I was searching the forum which apparently is worthless.

Actually I read that whole thread before you linked it here hoping to find something on tire load index. So it sounds like I'm probably ok, but the tire shop still won't touch the tires unless I bring the wheels in off the car. Discount Tire told me to look into 265's for the front next time for the load rating but the overall diameter seemed too far off the rear tires to be ideal. Reading your post it looks like they're too wide as well!
