Thank you for all your opinions. I respect both sides and I see all of your points. Not offended at all, I know its my car but I like to hear from fellow LS drivers. There is actually a crafted line in my neighborhood. So i have seen the rims in person. There is a local guy who has a set that he is selling so that is why I even gave it a thought. I know the LS isn't the sportiest car, I just thought maybe I could give it a sportier look with the black wheels since they have lots of spokes. The last thing I want to do is degrade the car. I honestly don't even follow the car trends. I happened to be next to a new range rover the other day that had blacked out window trim and black wheels. It looked kind of sporty to me which gave me the idea. The other option is to spend about $800 and swap my wheels for the exact ones just in chrome. that is what I did on my old LS430. I got mixed reviews on that as well. Some people loved it some people didn't depending on the area. Like some of you said, some people will love it some people will hate it. I guess I just need to do some more thinking...

Its okay to be different you don't want to be like every other LS with 20",21",22" wheels. Its your open canvas, paint it, modify it, drive it the way you vision it.

No one told Bob Ross how he should paint his paintings lol

How 'bout a set of OEM 2013-'16 F Sport wheels? I got a second set, for winter tires, from eBay. Five for $1750 including shipping.

You need contrast to be visually interesting, so I vote no on the blacked out wheels.

I agree with the poster who said black wheels look like a void ... it certainly does. Black tires with black wheels? Not for me.

I too like OEM wheels. But I like some aftermarket wheels too. Like the wheels I saw on PrinceAkim's and Tee's cars. Those friggin wheels were NICE! And ... maybe it's the size of the 460L or something, but big wheels (like 22 inch) look proportioned well, better than on smaller cars. The problem is, I'm too cheap to buy those wheels when I'm already rolling on 19" chromes.

How about Black wheels with whitewalls?

I'm thinking I might do it….I'll be the forum experiment so that we can all see what it looks like.

no no, just black wheels. However, I did see that Rolls Royce is bringing the white wall trend back. Take a look at their 2016 models, interesting look.

Update: Decided to go with the black wheels. I had someone photoshop them on the car and I like the look. Getting them installed next Tuesday so I'll update with pics as well.

get rid of chrome pillars and you can't get too much more sportier than those OEM 19 inch 5 spokes... love those wheels.

If all goes well with the new rims I would consider selling. Feel free to send me a PM.
