When they are available to purchase, there will be pictures out the ying-yang.

Swdtchlvr - thanks for grasping the point.

SW15LS - You really seem to get it. Maybe you've done something like this before.

Roadfrog - these parts are made from stainless. They're made in the U.S.A. and they will still be in reasonable condition when the pipe corrodes away. Your description of the sound is my sentiments as well. I could NOT go back to stock. However, my 2010 compared to Tee's & PrinceAkim's was just a skosh louder at idle. I'm thinking there must be a fuel mapping difference at idle between the 2010's+ and original 460s. Mine makes the sweetest sound when it cranks too. But once applying throttle, those guys' cars sounded just like mine.

Are you going to be testing these on the 2013+ models? Wil you be headed to a dyno to make sure there are no adverse effects to the engine or performance? You say it's bolt on but the tolerances on Lexus automobiles are rather tight. Does the addition of this unit inline increase the strain on other mounting points? Nothing like adding a $100 part to a $88,000 car only to mess it up in the long term.

There's a fair amount of play in the exhaust system in terms of room for adjustment.

I stand corrected. $199 part. Seems pretty high for an exhaust spacer / vent.

It's all relative. You just dropped ~$150 on CBI HID bulbs that offered a very marginal improvement or change, but you did that knowing they were a quality part. Knowing something is a quality part is worth something.

If I were looking for a part to add to my exhaust that would give this polished, marginally improved sound I wouldn't think that's terribly too expensive for a quality part that I have confidence in.

Dr Jekyll - I think you should buy the Joe Z exhaust for $650. From what i've heard, it doesn't sound as good, but I think you would be happier. That and the Exhaust Vents have a $452 shipping premium to Hawaii. So you'll save a buck on the Joe Z as well.

Absolutely. And if it performed as well as they say I'd gladly pay more than $200. Luckily money is not the issue for me. The CBIs are a perfect example. I spent $150 simply to change the visible light by a fraction, yes, just 1000k which is only noticeable when the two are side by side. But I had no issue because I knew what I was buying, saw it tested extensively and bought it from a trusted source.

Right, and that would be the case when it came time to actually purchase the product. They're not to that point, they're just trying to figure out if there's enough interest to even see if they can produce the product.

Everybody is replying like they're expecting us to buy the product without knowing what it is, and that's not the case. Yes they're being vague, but they have to be at this point because they don't want somebody to steal their idea.

That's why what we need is a simply yes or no poll.

I think a poll is a good idea but since you mentioned it neither Josh nor 7miles feel like creating one so all they're doing is fueling the skeptics. Safe to say anyone who owns an LS460 can afford this mod without thinking twice about the price if the product made sense. Heck I just bought an air controller so I could lower my car a whopping 10mm.

SIMPLE!........The poll should be like this:
Would you buy this exhaust vent without seeing what it looks like or how it installs. YES. NO
Would you buy this exhaust vent after seeing pix and installation instructions. YES. NO.

So these vents basically causing an exhaust leak? Might as well go the washer method. $5

There's no intention to sell these WITHOUT pictures being available. So the first poll question is valueless.

Exactly, this is how almost all of the new FD parts are developed.
