I wouldn't worry too much about what other people think---we've all bought our LS460s because we understand the value proposition.

If I cared what others thought I'd be driving a Benz or BMW.
Agreed. Its about value, reliability and a fine looking automobile for me. My LS '10 still turn heads from MB and BMW drivers.

This is my dilemma also. The '12 model looks as nice as the '13 model, but am I willing to take on an extra $10-20K for the extra gadgets?

I agree. I just want the LED DRL, LED turn signals and interior..but it's not worth that big of a price gap. I'll just keep my 12 and wait for the new new body coming out and get one when I can swing it (if I like it)

for me it wasn't worth it- so went with 2011 instead. The 13+ are pretty slick looking but worth 20k more i dont think so.?

13+ are nice, especially the F-Sport.

And while i'd rather have the updated car, It wasn't something that was worth the 65% price premium to me ($43,000) compared to ($26,000) that I paid for my '10. Neither being a CPO, which sit at least 10%+ higher than listed prices.

I really really really like the 13's & newer body styles...however couldn't justify the almost-double price tag (Dallas area price range). I have a 2010 LS460, the year it was refreshed and it does the job just fine. No significant difference with regards to driver expererience. You can find a 2011-2012 in the low $30s with good low mileage as an alternative....if you can spring the $$, go for a 13 or newer. But the "best bang for the buck" would be a 10-12 model is my take.

I love F-Sport LSs. Unfortunately they sell like Snow Shoes in Miami

+1, I will likely get a 13+ FSport once they come down significantly in price or at least once my '10 hits 200K. Which may only be about 3-4yrs away at the rate I put miles on cars.
