[QUOTE=Rhambler;9527147]You ever thought about crawling into the trunk while someone else drives around very carefully? Now I wouldn't personally recommend this, but I know other people have done this to help pinpoint a more finite location.

Wow I had never even consider that!!! I know what I'm doing tomorrow.

And that was the last we ever heard from v8sprint.

I actually did this myself on my Infiniti Q45a once. Thankfully my wife decided it wasn't time yet to get rid of me!

Make sure you have a flashlight and open that little backseat feed-through (assuming your model has that) so the driver can hear you scream in case something goes wrong. But I'm sure everything will be fine.

It's been a month. I don't think he made it out of the trunk.

Guys. I've been out in LA for three weeks.. My wife feeds me in rations through the access door.

No really.. Ive been on vacation.

I miss my LS. But I come home soon.
Anyway. I have not yet determined the source of the sound!!
The story and quest will continue..

Anyone else had any luck with this? I have what i think is the same issue. It sounds like a metal rod rattling (sort of like if you pick the license plate to make it clank). I've isolated it to somewhere just left of the pass side rear vent but it's quite high up and somewhere in the area on the horizontal plane between the passenger vent, behind the headrest and the side/beam. I did the ride inside the trunk and it was above the sheet metal on that side depth-wise, and no way of seeing upwards to determine more.

My next step is to remove that rear covering that has the speaker and the vent covers. I didn't see an easy way to do this - has anyone successfully done this? Looking at other articles it seems like a really hard job.

The Lexus dealers are probably the best people to spend an hour (~$140) or so with this. It's probably something they have seen and can diagnose/fix quite quickly.

Yes i suppose that's the best option at this point. I was hoping someone else had seen the similar situation though :/

Default Rattling noise in the back

I just turn the radio on.
I have same issue very annoying noise on very slow speeds 15-20mph I have replaced air suspension altogether to spring shock and that didn’t change anything, any other thoughts ?!
