Default VSC System check

My 2007 LS460L dash light shows VSC system check needed by dealer. What does this mean? When the warning comes, the cruise control and break-hold don't work. Please help. Thanks

Well, unless you can pull codes it could be a myriad of things. Even something simple as a loose gas cap.

However, of all the silly causes, I bet your battery is dying. I wouldn't rely on a battery test either, it may show good, but not show a dead or dying cell that would impact this. How old is your battery? If you can stomach buying a new battery with a CHANCE of it going away, I would honestly start there, unless you're prepared to just take it the dealer.

Thanks. I'm not terribly mechanically inclined. Hence I will take it to my mechanic. Thanks.

How many miles? get the codes from autozone. On my LS430, it turn out the O2 sensor. Need to know which one, on the LS430 there are 4 of them, so I assume LS 460 also has 4. Only change one...
