Im not sure of the function of that ECU but thats the same ECU that the datasystem lowering module connects to. I might have something to do with the suspension, VSC and navi since the module connects to the navi as well.
Yes, i think it's the module for the air suspension. I installed the ASC680 module last year. The connector that goes to the navi is a speed signal for the ECU, If the car reaches 123Kph the car will automatic lower itself to reduce drag and better handling.

You DIYers are brave! I can't imagine "tearing apart" my car this way to fix something. I am mechanically inclined, but this kind of work needs a lot of tools, patience, courage, and TIME!!! More power to you guys!
BTW, aren't you worried that you may be compromising the function/settings of the front passenger airbag? Is there any way to test and make sure your airbag will still deploy as designed after completing these repairs? Maybe the computer runs diagnostics on startup and will indicate an error if things are messed up.

I did damage the passengers kneeairbag, well the connector, it's a special connector that "arms" the airbag when it's connected. (safety feature so it can't explode by accident when it's not installed in the car) I got an airbag warning light, i scanned the fault and it said "airbag circuit open" The dealer replaced the connector for free, thanks dealer

yes, the blue port is for navigation system
i have an old problem with my ls

and i fixed it by replacing the wire that connected to the blue port
but now i have another problem that appears in the same time with the navi problem
so i think they are related , but replacing the wire in blue port fix the navi problem but the rear screen still not working , so i think it is from this ecu, my ls doesn't have suspension button that says 'comf' or 'sport' , so i dont think this ecu have somthing with suspention
