2007 Dashboard recall / warranty "enhancement"

Pole Position
I have an 07 and would love to have everything replaced, not because I'm experiencing any of the things people on this thread are, but rather because it would be nice for a ten year old car to basically get a new interior. I believe the door panels on this car are $1,200 dollars a piece, that's a lot of money - we're talking almost five grand in door panels - and you can add in another four hours labor, to bring the grand total up to around $5,700! And I don't know what a new dash cover costs, but I imagine it's at least $1,500, with two hours of labor thrown on top of it. So this entire job probably "costs" Lexus around $7,500 per car. Now I know it doesn't cost them that much...they make the parts...probably get charged a greatly reduced labor amount, but it still probably amounts to $3,000 per vehicle, mthey you have to factor in shipping of these parts.
The only wear I have is a indent where my left elbow goes on the door arm rest while I'm driving. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones? Oh and some of the wood trim on the door panels have cracks. I get the feeling these wood pieces are very thin and can't handle the pushing that sometimes happens on those components when you open the doors.

Most '07 and older vehicles should have some wear and tear base on how the owners cared for it. A lady I know have a '98 LS and the paint is lightly fading and front drivers seat worn but its still look good. But it would be nice to have a new interior on an older LS but may not be worth the cost.
