Hey everyone. I have been seeing and hearing conflicting information about alignments for cars lowered with air suspension. I was told there is nothing that can be done to adjust camber for tire wear on the cars with stock air. However, I have seen online that it can be adjusted with a smaller drop on the air. Does anyone know what is true and what isn't?

More info bud. Lowered an inch? Lowered 5 inches? Front camber? Rear camber?

It has the data system air controller on it. I basically want to be able to drop it about an inch and have it aligned so that the tires will stop wearing out. Then just dump it when parked. The front and rear tires have worn out already and been replaced and now the fronts are wearing again on the inside.

Okay then you shouldn't have any issues aligning it. If you go lower you will need the camber kit for the rear.

^ bushings off-centered. Never thought they had this. I need to fix my camber. Was thinking to add washers/spacers to the upper control arms to push them out a tad so I wouldn't eat so much inner tire.

I may just try these bushings out, cost isn't too high to try.

There's no factory camber adjustment for the LS460. What size wheel and tires are you using? I feel 22s with lower profile tires wear faster on a lowered LS. All that extra weight on the edge of the tire where the side wall is. Plus the load ratings on most of the tires you'll find for the sizes you need for this car are likely not high enough. I run 21s with a taller sidewall. My car is pretty low but it's always changing because of my air suspension so toe will aways be a little off. I haven't run into much issues with tire wear.

I have 305/25/22 rears and 255/30/22 fronts. I am thinking about just mechanically lowering the car about an inch or so and then buying those bushings that were linked above that have some camber adjustment in them. I'm not sure if anyone has shortened the height sensor arms on an LS with factory air but I know people have done it with other cars that have factory air.

Yeah they make lowering links. It's been done. It's just that the car will never be quit equal height.
