I was referring to the three young men in Islandbeef's photo.

Never heard of it, but thanks. Was really scratching my head over that one. Guess I'm about as un-hip as they come!

Apparently I'm not that hip because what the poster quoted "Lawd have mercy!" was the actual words for the scene but I guess the dayaaamm was more common. lol

Sorry bud, I was losing track of who was commenting on what. I try to help others grab a good deal and steer them in the right direction and all I got was doubting Thomas. Since I have no financial stake either way I'm gonna let this thread get back to my original intended purpose, and that's an awesome picture gallery.

Once again I highly recommend you deal with a reputable dealer and to these "hey I can get you whatever you want" guys who brag about hooking everyone one up. We all know that's not realistic. Deal with a company that specializes with one brand, a shop that can pick up the phone and talk to the factory directly. Not have to call the distributor and wait for them to call Japan and so on.

Sorry your experience has been less than ideal and I wish you the best in securing the proper dealer to work with.
I was quoted from one of the vendors on this forum. That was one of the reasons I didn't pull the trigger. One of my cousins is now in Japan, and I'll have him to do the shopping for me when he gets around.

[QUOTE=Dr. Jekyll;9462473]Like I said, use the exclusive dealers when possible. I'm lucky to have one right here in Hawaii.

Ok..so you're getting it from Samson. Great guy. Yes, you are lucky cause you don't have to pay additional shipping and shipping from Japan to HI is already cheaper then to California.

Just got a quote from a sponsor here for the Aimgain Aero 3 piece kit at $4500 plus shipping, $7500 for the Aimgain GT EXE 3 piece kit and front+ back over fenders plus shipping. I saw prices else where at $1900 for the Aero kit, not including shipping from Japan. Anyone got any hook ups on these kits or know where I should go for them? Thx.
