I agree that 22 would be the absolute maximum for ride comfort, availability, price erc, but I wouldn't go bigger than 21. My 20's are big enough for me and very nice riding. To each his own.

Yep that's exactly what I was thinking. 22's for best look on the street and 20" max for that compromise in comfort and performance.
Not really going to argue but I thought that it was kinda like simple mathematics that if someone says the gap is too big with 22's so the vehicle needs to be dropped that it means that it's compensating the look of filling the wheelwell. Countless post people state this. In fact I haven't seen anyone on here who thought that with 22's the vehicle didn't need to be dropped. It's all personal preference but you got it. You win.
No winners and losers here. You are free to have your own preference and opinion. You just stated a majority here thought 22's were too small and I disagreed. At the end of the day it's your car and you can do as you see fit but since you asked opinions on a forum you are going to get different perspectives.
For 22's 255 30 22 for the fronts
295 25 22 or 305 25 22 for the rears I stick with the load rating on the tires

Also, do you have OEM air suspension?
Did you lower your car?
If you didn't lower your LS, do you feel as if the look of 22" 's are too small, and do the wheels leave to much of a fender gap?
I'm in the camp 21's perfect with a drop and 22's max comfort with looks. BUT to each their own and at the in of the day it comes down to personal taste.

It's interesting to see the Tesla's with their heavy cars run 21's as an option. I was rather surprised by their choice. That set up does look awesome however and I got to see one in person this Saturday. Looked pretty bad ***!
I also agree as others have stated, end of the day the car is your own and you should not hold back from doing what makes you happy... keeping safety in consideration at all times of course!

Even BMW ran 21's on the 7 series, with a drop and proper offsets looks really good. I agree with you about the Tesla view.
Hey, I know this is an old thread. Don’t know how I missed it but I kinda left the forum because of all the hate. Not how the car culture flows where I’m from. Anyway, 255/30R24 on 24x9 fronts and 275/25r24 for the rears on 24x10.5. It’s kinda of a stanced look with the rears stretched. This is not a everyday driver setup. Fenders were rolled in the fronts and shaved and pulled in the rear. Ride quality is still outstanding. I can ride 4 passengers in the car but watch their weight because the wheels will hit the top of the wheel well liners.
