Default LS460 F-Sport Height

Didn't see this covered so I thought I would ask. After seeing a few factory F-Sports and regular LS460 in their stock configuration I was curious to see if they really were 10mm lower. So if you don't mind checking and chiming in I'd greatly appreciate it. Here are my specs.

2014 F-Sport
19" BBS factory wheels
Dunlop Sport Maxx Tires 36 psi
Measured to the thin rubber fender liner
Front Height 28 5/16"
Rear Height 28 1/4"

Roughly 28.625 inches front and rear to the bottom of the rubber liner

Can you measure the gap between the wheel and top of the fender or same rubber fender liner?

Roughly 3 inch gap between the wheel and the same rubber line with 18 inch OEM wheels.

By the way, HRE flow form wheels, which are awesome by the way, are in fact available even though their website says otherwise, in 19x8.5 w/35mm offset and 5x120. They run about $500 a piece. If you want a custom finish, it's $500 more total for all four wheels. Awesome wheels and they also offer more finishes than what the website indicates.

Their forged wheels are $2k each by the way lol. So, I would rather have HRE flow forms than Vossen Flow forms IMO.

Wow what a big difference in gap.

Of course, it was hard for me to measure that gap due the tire roundness and the fact that the outside edge of the tire tucks well under the fender lip. It might slightly shorter than three inches, but still that's a big difference. The OEM 18 wheels are only 7.5 inches in width.

What is the outside diameter of the 245:45 19 wheels versus 235:50 18?

Roundness. Try using something flat straight and light like a paint stirrer from Home Depot and put a weight on top if you want to gauge the true gap.

The tire diameters are virtually identical with the 19" being just a hair and I mean a hair taller.

On a relatively flat surface I measured my 2013 F Sport from the ground to the bottom of the fender at the center of the wheel. 28 3/8 in the rear; 28 1/2 in the front. Setting the ride height to high added about another 1 1/4 inches. I have the stock 19-inch wheels.

I wonder how many other F-Sport owners are here? They seem like rare editions. At least I hope they are!
