Default Phase 1 of transformation complete

Had the roof painted a black pearl. Came out really nice. Shoutout to Kennedy over at Platinum VIP. He does great work. Wheels, brakes, and suspension should be done in the next 3-4 weeks. Just waiting for everything to come in. Phase 3 will be body kit. Still deciding on which route to take on that one.

Man that is really nice. Smooth as glass. Looks killer against the white. Spot on job!

Looks very nice. I know no nothing about these sorts of mods but why would one go with painting vs a wrap?

Are you going with their air cup kit? I have it on my 07 LS460 and love it.

Nice! Having that "black" or "carbon" roof looks best on white cars. Really contrasts and stands out well if done right.

Curious, but are you going to get black wheels? Are you going to black-out your side trim as well, including mirrors?

Please post more pics!

Very nice! I live really close to this P-VIP, just right over the 605...

as for the question, wrap vs paint. For wrap, you cannot get the high gloss mirror look as you would with quality paint.

Unfortunately I don't have budget for that. I'm just getting the stock air suspension module to lower it that way. Wish i had the extra money or else I would.

Wheels will not be black. As for rest of car there might be some black accents depending on which body kit i go with.

For a couple extra hundred paint was worth it.

A wrap will never look as good as paint. Close but not as good. You won't get the depth of paint. Also you want that faux glass roof look. You can't get reflection sharp with a wrap. And it's almost certain you'll put in scratches into the wrap laying it down as well.

Very nice I love it! I can totally agree painting it was the way to go over wrapping it. So what's next for your car?
