Pulled the trigger. New LS owner.
Hello CL, I've been a long time lurker on here but now it's time I've come out. I've owned 5 mk3 supras, 1 89 cressida, 1 97 sc400. Currently have a 01 IS300 and now I introduce to you my 2007 LS460L and I've never been happier with a vehicle overall.
My LS 460 is clocking at 125k miles but still feels as solid as brand new. But that's baby miles compared to my 97 sc400 with 275k miles when I sold it and my IS300 at 230k miles.
Will be posting around here more often.

Nice!
I just bought a 2010 with 55K miles - I'm hoping to push her to at least 150K.
Have you had to do any expensive work on it? I'm curious if there are any known issues on high mileage LS that I should be looking out for (I do well over 20K miles a year so I'll get there real soon) any advice?
Thanks,
Mo

Just make sure the recalls have been done, other than that the control arms might creep up on you around 100k miles.
There is quite a debate going on all over the Internet regarding Toyota WS transmission fluid and weather it's a "lifetime fluid", like they try to tell you in the U.S. Many believe it should be changed out between 60,000-100,000 miles...I'm a person that falls into that category.
Most of us run synthetic oil in the engine - Toyota Genuine Motor Oil is highly thought of around here, and the Internet in general. Other than that they are very reliable cars.
