Default Lexus rear passengers foot rest

Hi,
I have been searching for these Foot Rest's that had been available in Europe long before I bought my LS600hL....never found them, so ended up buying a secondhand set for a Toyota and re-badget it:

My re-badged

These foot rests can be folded flat and raised in two levels for the most suitable position for the passengers....

Now I have found this place in Japan that may still have them available: Price 18000 Yen ...I would think that's the price for one......

It seems that this shop have a lot of other "goodies" too ...check the site out....

A few pictures of the original Lexus Foot Rest:

I looked on their site and I can't find them anywhere. I suspect when they discontinued them in Europe they took them off.

Where did you find the Toyota ones? I've been looking on and off for these for the last year and didn't realize they were sold with a Toyota brand.

Footrests have been around for decades mostly in luxury sedans. Standard and the size of a large pillow in the early 70's Cadillac Fleetwood. Standard in the 90's BMW 7-series and my '91 MB 560 Sel had footrests, but I kept them in the trunk because I saw no use for them other than to show off to the rear seat passengers.

I think it would be quite comfy with the L model and recliners. I might order a set. But the website doesn't have pictures and much details at all.

Default They have two settings for different angles for the top plate...

....and when reclining in the lhs rear seat, you get a perfect rest angle for your feets...instead of flat on the floor. Not often I sit back there now, but have been relaxing through Germany in the back (wifie in the ottoman as usual) and my youngest son at the wheel...
The look will be as in the pictures I have incerted in this thread. Color is either grey or black. Price is €61.33 (Euro) or $71 roughly. ..and It looks that there is a choice between Lexus or Toyota logos.

Why would I want to make the back seat any more comfortable then it already is. They already have their own AC, their seats are heated and cooled, their seats recline, they can get a massage while they are napping, they can raise and lower the rear and side window shades so the sun is not to bright while they are napping, they can adjust their head rest with the touch of a button, they can adjust the sound system to fit their needs, they can keep their Perrier water cool in the cold box. Given the fact that I will never enjoy the multiple comforts of the existing back seat, tell me again why I would want to order these $71 plus shipping foot rests?
