Default Picked up a 2011 LS460 AWD- traded my Ls430

Picked up a blk on blk ls460 awd last week from PA, traded my trusty ls430. I had the LS for last 2 some years and i really wanted a AWD car after my kids in car and snow on ground last winter and my rear kind of gave away.

Its at 59k - great condition not excellent but its a 4 year old car and there some little things to be expected- Drives pretty good like the added power i get but feels kinda heavy than the Ls430.

My old LS was a 2005 with 85kon the clock was really clean and i had put in BC coils early this year after one of my rear shock went bad..
here are the pics of the car that went and the one i picked up.

You have moved up and both LS's are nice. Having AWD will improve handling in snow.

I wonder if the AWD is what's making it feel heavier to you, compared to your RWD LS430?

Anyway, congrats on your new ride, I think you'll love it. Looks nice.

Gratz on the 460. The 430 is a really good car. The 460 is a really great car.

Welcome to the 460 side of the LS.... Both cars look nice...

We just acquired a 460 as well but will be keeping our '01 430.....

So, we get the best of both of worlds!!! Love them both....

Yea I wanted to keep the LS430 but it would just sit there and I don't really need 3 cars-plus I got the dealer to give me 11k for It which is not great but not bad- I paid about 23 about 2.5years ago and 45k miles less.--- the main reason I went to 460 is because of AWD and updated Nav screen. I hate the pixelated look on the ls430 screen. The lS430 had been rock solid since last 2-3 years I had it and had put about 45k miles on it.

I guess the looks of the ls460 has "Grown" on me- so I finally bought it. I just thought the ls430 has its own look .

Thank you, I wanted a black interior. I have 2 little boys and they make a mess- try to sneak in crayons and etc. Black is just easier to clean plus look of the lighter leather after a while starts to look dirty. I had t hat issue the LX570, but not so much on the lx470. I think the newer leather is maybe more prone to wear?

exterior my fav color is the smg, - black/white

But the black on black combo with some tints and right wheels look amazing.

Maybe, it just feel heavy - turning and off the line. Its quick don't get me wrong and I can hear the engine purr when pushed which is nice. The LS430 felt lighter off the line, Pedal response to wheels. Actually to think about it the LS460 feels little like the ISF I use to have, it doesn't move much unless I kinda push the pedal down.

Love the car though- I test drove a 750i - 2012 and a S class, but came back to lexus..lol.

Will keep this for about 2-3 years then upgrade to the 15s or the newer ones that come out.

I will put some HID or nice LEDs in the fogs + Tints in a week or so.

Thanks! I am excited
