How much does full tank cost and how many KM do you get per tank?

I think it was because they had advertised certain performance claims. The 350 definitely also said premium required.
Now, we are assuming that Lexus did not make any engine changes in 2011. Lexus never said that previous models could also use regular. We simply inferred that.

I have also looked into that case with the ES and I think they may have tweaked the management to reflect the change. It maybe safe to use in the earlier model but the newer one is probably optimize for efficiency around regular unleaded.
It could also be that it's the same engine management but it has been long term tested to run on 87 with no ill effects.
I believe the 350 has higher compression heads.

Precisely. I knew better than to try any foot to the floor antics on regular- what I was amazed with was just how terrible it ran using a very light foot...I drove about 1/2 mile VERY VERY GINGERLY, and filled up with Premium. Problem solved!

I agree with the premium recommended for advertising claims but I think premium required is geared for the proper safe operation of the engine.

I did start running regular in my ES after the 2011 switched to regular and experienced no issues. But, that wasn't a car I was going to keep, and it wasn't a car I paid a premium for to experience high performance. It was an economy lease for me.

sw and devh -- putting all the premium gas stuff aside.
do you think i will be paying a lot more gas wise for an LS than what i pay now for my ES ?
from what you guys said it seems like the LS gets better gas and it's a v8, wtf?
i only get 280miles per full tank here on the ES

Not terribly more. I've had multiple LSs and multiple ESs, the LS isn't much worse on gas than the ES. You're going to pay more, and if you get an AWD LS it will be a little more but the tradeoff is worth it. The LS is a significantly better car than the ES.

a full tank costs me 33 dollars approx , and its 73 liters approx , totally driving on Highway gives me about 450 Miles on a tank with 4 people in the car , inside the city its much much lower

This is getting a little silly. This data is out there, you know the relative fuel economy for the vehicle, simply multiply the miles per gallon by the number of gallons in the tank...and there you go...thats the range. Whats the point in continuing to ask the same question over and over?
Would you not buy the car if you found out you only got 340 miles to a tank instead of 360 miles? If you're significantly worried about fuel economy this isn't the right car.

Exactly !!
Tbh you shouldnt be worried of fuel economy if you can afford the car , its a flagship premium car .
