I drove a Ghibli and a Quattroporte. Fun, but the loud engine and exhaust sounds aren't something I would want in a daily driver, they get old quick IMHO.

Hmmm.....I heard a Maserati at idle and low acceleration and it was quiet. It was only when he opened it up, that the beautiful exhaust note came in to play. But I never drove it. I thought the Maserati Valvetronic exhaust system allowed for the luxury quiet sound until full throttle?

And then there's this:

same thing with amg cars. if done right, a car can be loud when it needs to be, especially on the outside

Neither Maserati is ever quiet when it comes to the exhaust.

This is the tech geek side of me...but WOW those holograms! That entire dashboard looks so cool! I know it won't really be like that, but always fun to think of all the new tech that is to come. Interesting design, I'm still not a huge fan of the grill, but if the tech is half as cool as the video shows I may have to stick with the LS for my future DD's!

i don't expect that either. i said a car can be made so it's loud when needed, but i wouldn't expect a maserati to be done that way. i always think mb does a brilliant job in the s63 in terms of noise / sound

You don't have to have a $130k Benz to get that right. The volume of the sound was one of the best things about my old G8 GXP. Stock exhaust, and it was LOUD when on the boil, but civilized and quiet when puttering around town.

I hope it's self driving! Because I DEFINITELY want to sit in those back seats. Man, that would be awesome. Who wants to drive when one can lounge?

And by then, we'll know if there were any first year bugs and what model years to avoid.

That rear end stance is just lovely and it's like looking into the future. It's going to make our cars look like old Chevy cruisers from a bygone era.

Just as most car concepts have very little in common with the production model, the same can be said about this. Reminds me of the LFC concept: very cool and futuristic back when it was shown, but only the front bumper design was used from it(maybe a few other small things, but there were no cars that actually looked like it).
