Default New to us an LS460.....

My wife finally found the replacement for her LS430 ('01) and her 2014 Nebula Gray metallic (with the light gray interior) was delivered today..... We found it in SoCal and only has 21K miles.

Will add some pictures later but it is a gorgeous car and rides "...like butter".

Lots and lots of features to configure and learn; the manual is a beast.

Got the garage door programming done, paired her cell phone, and will be attacking the audio system next.

We are now a 3 Lexus family with the '92 SC300, the aforementioned LS430, and now the LS460.

I will be letting go of my Honda Civic commuter car and "woe is me" be taking her LS430 hand me down... (). (Which I have plans for but have to wait for the excitement of the new arrival to die down....).

I now have a third forum to keep me busy. What a great club this is....

Very nice! Congrats!

I'm sure you realize you'll be losing at least 10 mpg from your Civic, and going to Super gasoline, but I bet it's a trade off your willing to make.

Yes..... My 5sp '07 Civic gets 35MPG on regular and the 430 is around 22 on super.... Tired of the manual and I recently drove her LS430 a couple of times and with the price of gas where it is it will be more but worth it I think.... Plus, I will now get to do some mods to the 430..... (but not as radical as the SC...)

Yeah that car is night and day compared to the Civic, it will probably take you a month to get used to how quiet the 430 will be. Be careful, it can make you sleepy at first, I'm serious.

Wait an minute! She gets the new car and you get the hand-me-down? What's wrong with this picture?!

Oh well, happy wife, happy life.

Congrats and I wish you good luck with the car.

Interesting that your wife likes the LS. Mine loves riding in it, but finds it big and hard to see out of when she's driving. She much prefers driving the Fozzy.

Going from a civic to an LS. I can only imagine. Lol. Congrats. One day we (might, would like to be!) a Lexus trifecta family. Woot!

Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I want a newer one but my 08 is doing just fine. Gives me a little room to add some goodies to it.
