Considering that my LS just clears the sides of my garage door without rubbing the mirrors, that 3 inches makes a big difference lol

It's a nice truck but the LX570 may require too many hours refueling (12 city/17 hwy).

Yep... 3 inches wider at the mirrors would mean I'd have to fold them to get through the garage door.
